DMCA Policy

At videorecorder.in, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and we expect the same from our users. As a responsible website, we comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and have established the following policy to address copyright infringement claims.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used on videorecorder.in in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please send a written notice to our designated agent at the following address:

Your written notice must include the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.
4. Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and an email address.
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. We will also take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted the infringing material and provide them with an opportunity to submit a counter-notification.

If you believe that your content was removed in error or that you have the right to use the material in question, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent. Your counter-notification must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification under DMCA 512 subsection (c)(1)(c) or an agent of such person.

If a counter-notification is received, we will forward a copy to the original complaining party and inform them that the material will be restored within 10 business days. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the user, the removed material may be replaced or access to it restored in 10 to 14 business days after receipt of the counter-notification.
